Helping the people translate this unique strength into answers for sustainable livelihoods and addressing Intellectual Property Rights concerns through empowering regimes of sustainable use and equitable benefit sharing are board's constant endeavor. Addressing the issues of sustainable use and equitable benefit sharing the following activities are being taken up -

- Sensitizing industries on access and benefit sharing
- Facilitation of benefit sharing with BMC
- Promotion of conservation and sustainable use of biological resources.
