Habitat : Open forest, light forest, reedy margins of tanks and Marshes
Identification : Black head, orange brown breast and prominent white patches on side of the neck
Status : Migratory
Distribution : Throughout the Indian union
Food : Insects, sometimes fruits
Nest : April – july, pad of grass hair
Eggs : 4-6, not markedly differ
