Size : Safed gal kasturi (21 cm)
Habitat : Semi deciduous, deciduous forest
Identification : Head, neck and under parts orange chestnut, white wing bar
Status : A partial migrant
Distribution : Breeds in Himalayas and eastern India
Food : Insects, worms, berries and fruits
Nest : May-June, Thick pad of mosses
Eggs : 3-4, cream

  Found in Moist and Dense forest of M.P, like Satpura National Park, Kanha National Park, Amarkantak Biosphere Reserve.
