A doomed soft shell turtle with plastron flaps. Shell oval, with hinged anterior lobe of cream or pale-yellow plastron; a pair of flaps; carapace olive-green with numerous black-bordered yellow spots, irregularly arranged and with a light-yellow marginal rim; head is moderately large; the snout is very short. Carapace: 350mm.
Habit and Habitat:
Inhabits in ponds, rivers, rice fields, muddy ditches, lakes and marshes
Diet
Carnivorous and feeds on animal corpses, frogs, fishes, tadpoles, shrimps and snails.

Least Concern.Uncommon. Loss of habitat.
