Body stout; cylindrical, covered with small; granular scales; scales on belly overlapping; tail short; tapering; dorsum with 5 pairs of large dark-brown spots, in addition 2-3 pairs of head; tail with 11 dark-brown bands. SVL: 50mm. |
Habit and Habitat: |
Inhabits deciduous and scrub forests. Crepuscular, hiding under rocks during the day and emerging at dusk. |

Feeds on insects and termites. |
