Diagnostic characters:

Body slender; head narrower than neck; snout sharply pointed; tail very short; scales in 17 rows; ventrals 144-176; subcaudals 5-11 pairs; scales smooth. Dorsum glossy dark-brown, with or without small yellow dots and larger one on the underside. Distinct yellow line along sides of neck a broad yellow stripe on each side of tail. SVL: 250mm |
